Lipton Brisk Iced Tea

It is Christmas Day and I am watching the Lakers play against Boston. Unfortunately its halftime and there's nothing to do and I am a little tired of these Wade/Barkley commercials that have been going on for the last five years. So here it is, a product review! Today's product of choice is Lipton Brisk Iced Tea.

Now when you first look at the can, you can tell its not going to be like 7 Up, Sprite, Dr. Pepper or any of those other drinks because sodas never exhibit the unique color scheme of blue and yellow. So right off the bat, you know this drink could be something special.

Boy oh boy, just looking at the can makes me thirsty so I'm going to pop open this can and take a sip. The first thing I notice when opening the can is: where the heck is the carbonation? how are you going to put a drink in a can without carbonating it. The best part about soft drinks is that fizzly feeling as it goes down your throat. Minus five points.

So I'm drinking this thing and wondering, if its tea, then it has to be healthy right? Well, after drinking half the can I take a peak at the nutrition facts and whoa, whoa, whoa. what is this? This thing has just as much sugar as Sierra Mist. Not only does it lack the carbonation, its just as unhealthy for you as a can of soda.

So heres my conclusion: why drink this when you can enjoy the carbonated alternatives? antioxidants? pfft. Like Liptons Brisk Iced Tea is real tea anyway.
