Somewhere Over the Rainbow

The weather was scorching hot and the Windy City was not so windy that day. Harold woke up in the middle of the night to the crickets screaming in agony as the heat caused them to spontaneously explode.

Harold decided that the head was unacceptable and began working on his latest invention: a superpower fan. If you thought this fan was made to blow cool air at you, you thought wrong. The power of this fan is so great that its ingenious creator will be able to use it to blow him into the air to a destination of his choosing.

As he was traveling through the sky, Harold he admired the clouds; he always wondered what they looked like up close. Determined to take a souvenir, Harold opened a jar and collected what appeared to be a cumulus cloud.

As he approached Wichita, Team HATE looked into the sky and spotted him.

Though they pretended not to be excited to see Harold, Team HATE is always excited to see their old friend. It seems as if the purpose of their lives is to make Harold’s life miserable by ruining his fun. What do they have in store for our hero today? They already started scheming even before Harold landed.'

Once Harold landed, he was excited to show all of his friends the souvenir he got while he was in the sky. He ran to the local park and told all of his friends to meet him there.

The people were all so intrigued by Harold’s recent acquisition. In fact, one girl took great interest in the cloud and started talking to Harold. Who knew a cloud would help Harold pick up girls?!

While Harold was distracted by the cute girl, Team HATE sneaked up behind Harold and hit him with a large chair and knocked him unconscious. They took their usual treasures (wallet, money, driver’s license) and proceeded to smash Harold’s cloud jar.

Harold woke up about an hour later to find that the girl he was previously talking to had disappeared and left him a note. At least the day was not totally lost!

Harold knew it was too good to be true. He crumpled up the paper, threw it in the recycle bin (he cares about the environment) and started walking back home once again without the girl’s phone number, friends, money, his drivers license, or his cumulus cloud.

Looks like Harold gets to go home with his cloud after all.
Disclaimer: That’s a cricket; trust me. Clouds cannot be captured in jars, bottles or even pokeballs. The “hello nurse” is a reference to Animaniacs. Once again, these stories are from the non-exaggerated perspective of an individual named Harold, not Harry.
